My wife and I want to thank IRS Trouble Solvers for efforts in attaining a Settlement Agreement with the IRS. I had a meeting with Patrick T. Sheehan and Gregory M. Dzialo for about one hour in their Elmhurst, IL office in September of 2016. My IRS tax problems for tax year 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015 were reviewed. Gregory Dzialo was assigned our case or should I say cases. I was directed to retain a CPA firm to review and document all referenced tax year returns. With the substantiated 1040X forms and Gregory Dzialo’s persistence in advocating our cases and his skilled negotiations a direct debit streamlined installment agreement was secured.
Gregory Dzialo, your frequent communication and thorough explanation of the options and likely scenarios, allowed us to make informed decisions. Making the whole process much easier, resulting in a 50% reduction in taxes and penalties and a monthly payment program we could afford.
Without hesitation we would recommend you and your firm to others that may find themselves in our situation. Thank you again.
The IRS selected our married taxpayers’ federal Form 1040 tax returns for 2012 through 2015, inclusive, for audit. The taxpayers represented themselves during the audit. The audit resulted in proposed liability in the total amount of $99,028.86, inclusive of penalties and interest. After our taxpayers retained our firm, we successfully convinced the IRS to reduce the proposed liability by $40,000.00 and to grant a direct debit streamlined installment agreement in the amount of $700.00 per month. We also negotiated the non-filing of a Notice of Federal Tax Lien by the IRS. Without our involvement, the IRS would have demanded much more money from our taxpayers and filed a Notice of Federal Tax Lien in respect of their unpaid assessed liability.
