In the fall of 2010 I received notice from the IRS that they wanted to audit both my 2008 and 2009 tax returns. 2008 and 2009 were difficult years for me; I had allowed myself to be scammed by a very talented scam artist. This person had prepared my tax returns, when I called him to ask for documentation to back up my returns his comment was:
